Course Rooms

SESAM

The self-study centre (SESAM), located in room F-S 0101, offers course-related learning software for autonomous learning purposes. Language skills can be refreshed through self-study. Our computer-based placement tests also take place in SESAM. Furthermore, our Service Team can inform you about the Language Center's courses and services here, and you can network with fellow students.

The SESAM can still be used for video conferences. Devices such as tablets or headsets can be borrowed here.

Course Rooms

The 2 course rooms available to the Language Centre in Sandstraße (F-S 011 and F-S 012) are equipped with Legamaster boards. These rooms are suitable for various forms of teaching and social interaction and teachers are trained in the use of media as part of our further training programme.

Our internal events, e.g. the ‘International Movie Nights’, usually take place in the ‘Showroom’ F-S 002. The rooms can also be used for video conferences.

If equipment is required, it can be borrowed from the Service Office-SESAM (F-S 0101).

Study rooms and facilities

Learning spaces for students: (Leo) study rooms such as F-S 217/18 and 219/20 can be used as study and group work rooms on request during the semester break.

Opening hours: The Leos are accessible during the building's opening hours from 8am to 5pm.

Technical equipment (headsets, tablets) is available for loan in the service office (F-S 0101) for a deposit (ID card).
